Other Interests

While at the university I played Rugby regularly and obtained a Cambridge Blue in 1974.  I was lucky enough at that time to tour with Cambridge to Japan.  Subsequently, while at medical school in London, I played for London Welsh.  This was at a period when London Welsh was extremely successful and I was lucky enough to play in a team littered with Welsh internationals and British Lions.

Now my hobbies are a little less energetic.  I am a member of the local golf club and also play Real Tennis at the Leamington Tennis Court Club. I cycle regularly

My children’s interests are varied, I have one son who is an actor, another who breeds race horses for a living and plays rugby and a daughter who plays lacrosse and is keeping a medical link by studying physiotherapy. This leads to an exciting life outside of medicine.
